Big 5 Safari in Serengeti

The big 5 safari animals are Lion, Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Leopard, and Rhinoceros. The name was coined by big-game hunters and refers to the
five most difficult animals in Africa to hunt on foot.

Nowadays the big five safaris no longer refer to hunting safaris, but
rather a thrilling experience to see these incredibly dangerous animals in
different parks, especially in Serengeti.

With that in mind we have recommended some itineraries for seeing
the Big 5 Safari below. For a tailor-made itinerary don’t hesitate to write
us an email.

It's important to note that today, the Big Five are typically viewed as a
group of iconic animals for wildlife tourism and conservation, rather
than as a hunting trophy. Wildlife safaris that offer the opportunity to
see these animals in their natural habitats are highly popular, and many conservation organizations work to protect and preserve these
species for future generations.
