Experience the thrill of flying through the African sky just beyond Mto wa Mbu, at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Soar between majestic baobab trees with sweeping views over Lake Manyara and the escarpment—an unforgettable stop on Tanzania’s Northern Circuit, only 5 km from the Lake Manyara National Park gate and perfectly placed en route to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. The course features 4 exhilarating ziplines linked by 5 eco-platforms set among the baobabs. Your adventure begins with check-in in Mto wa Mbu, where professional guides provide a full safety orientation and fit your harness and helmet. A short scenic transfer across Maasai land brings you to the launch point. After your flight, you’ll be returned to the base to unwind — perhaps with a cold drink at the café. Make it a half day or a full day: fly the lines on their own, or pair the experience with a guided village walk, waterfall hike, or cycling through banana and rice farms.

  1. Arrival & check-in at our Mto wa Mbu base — meet your guides, complete a quick registration, and store any loose items.
  2. Gear up & safety orientation — get fitted with harness, helmet, and gloves; learn signals and braking technique; practice at ground level.
  3. Short scenic transfer to the launch site — drive across Maasai land to the base of the Rift Valley wall.
  4. Warm-up zips (Platforms 1–2) — lower to mid-height lines through the baobabs to build confidence.
  5. Viewpoint zips (Platforms 3–5) — longer runs with sweeping Rift Valley and Lake Manyara vistas; brief photo stops between platforms.
  6. Final zip & de-gear — celebrate the flight, remove gear, and transfer back to the base.
  7. Wrap-up at the base — relax at the café; optional add-on activities such as village walk, cycling, or Miwaleni Waterfall.
